My ankle is spoiled.
Ok.. Let’s start from the front.
31 Oct - sat
Inter school friendly match, YHSS & PHS.
During one of the matches, I went to the net to block only to get my right foot twisted and stepped on by the opposition. I have not been playing vball since.
My ankle turned into a giant swell, like a turtle shell. I lied on the floor and supported my team, they're so kind so to me :) even though they laughed and such when I complained how ugly my ankle looks.
Even though he had little sleep and probably hung over, QQ came immediately after I called him and sent me home. He even carried me on his back... down the stairs.. to the taxi.. to my doorstep.. Sweet!
In the cab, i still cried coz of the pain and he comforted me and told stories to distract me from the pain.. so sweet :) [ love ya nursemon :P ]
That night, went to the KKH with my worried and angry mom. QQ like kan-chiong spider, so worried. The doctor scheduled an appointment with the bone specialist on 6 Nov coz he dono what is wrong after the x-ray. As he is a child doctor, he kept giving me the poor-thing- look.. but im ok with it. He also made a temporary cast for me. And I learned how to use my crutches from a nurse.
Over the week, QQ and ohnmar visited me.
So far my cast had:
* HAHAHA - sis
* NO PAIN! NO GAME! – bro
* Fish bone feet (by) muli – ohnmar
* i dun want to carry you!!! – QQ
Ohnmar so ridiculous, say that her white socks are bandages when she “sprain” her feet. Then she said that she broke her feet so she exchanged the bones with fish bones, which explained the message on my cast.
I won 2 rounds of soccer with QQ. Soccer, as in the board game thing with players on.. what do you call it.. sticks?
Anyways, won him in checkers too. Had a fun time playing CHESS too. Not bad for a beginner. His favourite pieces are the castles :)
Can’t believe I stayed home all the way till 6 Nov, watched lots of tv. It’s actually quite boring to be a couch potato..

Went to KKH at 1030 am. Went for x-rays and visited the bone specialist. Ok.. Here’s the deal. It was not as simple as a sprain. I actually tore of 2 out of 3 of my ligaments and I might have a hidden fracture. That explains the severe pain and not being able to walk. Ok.. so I had to let it heal over 3 weeks + and visit him again on 4 dec.
Damn painful while making the permanent cast la, coz the plaster specialist twisted my feet straight :(
but I have a really pretty red cast :D
Took the shuttle bus and MRT too! So tiring la. Went to Jurong point to take cab. I was sweating like a pig la. ( I know pigs don’t sweat but still.. :) )
Ok then.. now here I am, blogging about my life. My cast currently has a ‘get well soon’ by my mom. It’s still waiting to be written on.
